Platts proposes to revamp and enhance the pages carrying assessment for the Asia Pacific and Middle East crude oil markets with effect from November 1, 2011.
As announced in June, Platts will also provide midpoints for all assessments, where they are not already published.
The affected crude assessment pages will also be re-cataloged so that all pages are published on a page series starting at PGA 2200.
As well as grouping crudes assessments by type, Platts will start publishing all assessments by country, with each country having its own page.
Existing page numbers will be discontinued at the same time, on November 1.
For a full list of new pages, discontinued pages, and mock-ups of what the new pages will look like, please visit Platts.com at http://bit.ly/acp11.
Please send comments and questions by October 14 to PGA@platts.com.
