S&P Global Platts will discontinue publication of the Hong Kong marine gasoil delivered bunker assessment, effective November 1, 2017.
This decision follows a proposal note published on June 27, 2017, available here: https://www.platts.com/subscriber-notes-details/27850146
Platts currently publishes this assessment on a daily basis under code AATXL00; on Platts Global Alert page 2850; and on a monthly basis under code AATXL03.
Platts on June 1, 2017, launched LSMGO assessments at a number of Asian ports, including Hong Kong. The assessment for LSMGO in Hong Kong is published on Platts Global Alert page 2850 under the code AAXYQ00.
Since April 1, 2014, sales of Marine Light Diesel within Hong Kong have been restricted to a maximum 0.05% sulfur or 500 ppm.
