SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts launches European Guarantee of Origin price assessments

Following a period of market consultation, S&P Global Platts has launched European Guarantee of Origin, or GO, price assessments, amid market trends of increased liquidity in the renewable energy certificates sector.

Platts launched weekly GO price assessments for Nordic Hydro and EU Wind, for current-year and year-ahead generation, on September 6, 2019. The price assessments reflect the prevailing value, in Eur/MWh, for delivery of GOs on Fridays at 13:30hrs London market close.
