Platts discontinues standard grade AS Black Sea FOB caprolactam price assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued the publication of its AS Black Sea FOB caprolactam (Russian) ($/t) price assessment, effective Sept. 5, 2024.

The discontinuation reflects an absence of exports of standard grade AS of Russian origin via the Black Sea, and follows market feedback to a proposal published on June 20, available here.

The discontinuation affects the following symbol: FASCB04.

The assessment had previously appeared in Platts Connect, the Nitrates Market Report, and the Platts price database.
