Platts updates Mexico natural gas transportation rates

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has updated the natural gas transportation rates used in the calculation of the Mexico daily natural gas prices.

Platts used the current rates in pipeline tariffs for the transportation routes, the September 2025 bidweek price for the Tennessee, zone 0, Waha, and SoCal Gas source locations, and the Aug. 29 Mexican peso to US dollar spot exchange rate.

The changes will be effective Sept. 2.
