Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has renamed its "DME Oman" data to "GME Oman" effective Sept. 2.
The update follows Dubai Mercantile Exchange's announcement of its name change after Saudi Tadawul Group acquired a 32.6% stake in DME Holdings Ltd., the parent company of DME.
The acquisition positions Tadawul Group as the largest shareholder in DME Holdings alongside CME Group.
Platts first announced the change in a subscriber note published July 29. There will be no change to Platts' publication of the data beyond renaming them to GME Oman.
