Platts launches hydrogen pump prices for California, Europe and Japan

S&P Global Platts has launched new monthly assessments for hydrogen pump prices in the California market, alongside republished pump prices for Germany and Japan hydrogen fuel stations.

California prices will consider source data from hydrogen fueling station operators around the state. For Germany, prices are sourced from H2 MOBILITY Deutschland, a consortium of hydrogen retail station operators, and for Japan from gas company Iwatani.

Prices are converted from their respective currencies into both US Dollars and Euros using Platts FX currency conversion assessments.

The data is published on the Platts Dimensions Pro and under the Market Data Category, HY.

All Japanese prices are published in Japanese Yen, US Dollars and Euros. All European prices are published in Euros and US Dollars. All US prices are published in US Dollars and Euros.
