Platts launches new daily ICE NGX TransGas 5A natural gas index in Canada

Effective Aug. 31, S&P Global Platts launched a new daily ICE NGX TransGas 5A natural gas index in Canada.

Platts first announced its decision to start publication of the new CGPR (Canada Gas Price Report) index on July 19 https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/071921-platts-decides-to-launch-ngx-transgas-5a-cgpr-daily-index.

Prices have been backfilled going back to May 1, 2020.

The index appears on the Enerdata website, Platts Natural Gas Alert page PGN 1211 and in Platts price database under the following codes:
