Platts to add Italy's Augusta to ports reflected in FOB Med Premium Unleaded 10ppm gasoline cargo assessment

S&P Global Platts will expand the list of ports reflected in its Market on Close assessment process for FOB Mediterranean Premium Unleaded 10ppm Gasoline cargoes, effective Oct. 1, 2021, to include Augusta in Italy.

Platts understands that Augusta is an active export location for gasoline, connected to two large-capacity refineries. The port is understood to be suitable to load Medium Range tankers and has a storage capacity of around 4 million cu m.
