Platts proposes to discontinue FOB NWE AA, VAM price assessments

S&P Global Platts is proposing to discontinue its FOB NWE acetic acid (AA) and vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) spot price assessments, effective Nov. 19, 2020, due to a lack of liquidity.

Platts will continue to publish its FD NWE AA and VAM spot price assessments.

The proposed discontinuation would affect the following:
