S&P Global Platts will publish a monthly average spread between Diesel 10 ppm UK Cargoes CIF NWE (Code: AAVBH00) and Diesel 10ppm UK Cargoes CIF NWE – original (French) spec (Code: AUKDA00) at the end of each calendar month, beginning from September 2020 to December 2021.
Platts will also publish a full-year 2021 average spread.
Details on the new code for the monthly average spread will be published in due course.
In a subscriber note published June 30, Platts said it would reflect UK specification in its Diesel 10 ppm UK Cargoes CIF NWE assessment from Sept. 1.
Additionally, Platts said it would launch a new assessment retaining the existing methodology of the current Diesel 10 ppm UK Cargoes CIF NWE assessment reflecting French spec ULSD under a new code from Sept. 1, 2020, until Dec. 31, 2021, and named "Diesel 10ppm UK Cargoes CIF NWE – original (French) spec."
