SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to launch European Guarantee of Origin price assessments

Following a period of market consultation S&P Global Platts has decided to launch European Guarantee of Origin (GO) price assessments due to the market trend of increased liquidity in the renewable energy certificates sector.

Platts will launch weekly GO price assessments for Nordic Hydro and EU Wind, for current-year and year-ahead generation in the week commencing September 2, 2019. The price assessments will reflect the prevailing value, in Eur/MWh, for delivery of GOs on Fridays at the 13:30 London time market close.

The first assessments will be published Friday, September 6, 2019.
