S&P Global Platts wishes to clarify that in its premium unleaded gasoline 10 ppm cargoes FOB Med assessment (Code: AAWZA00), it considers bids, offers and transactions for gasoline transacted on a destination-free basis.

Bids published in the Platts Market on Close assessment process for FOB Mediterranean gasoline will be deemed to be for material on a destination-free basis.

Platts may consider for publication offers that stipulate limited destination restrictions that form part of market-accepted terms and conditions, but may normalize them back to the reference of the assessment.

Platts wishes to remind market participants that in its European oil products MOC process it considers bids and offers that are executable under normal conditions and reflect typical trading practices.

Companies' general terms and conditions are normally recognized provided they are consistently applied and accepted as part of normal trading practice.

Counterparties are expected to perform on trades reported in the MOC process based on typical GT&Cs that have been applied and accepted by both counterparties in the open market.

In addition, Platts wishes to remind market participants that under MOC process guidelines, commodities supplied from countries or entities that are subject to trading embargoes and sanctions recognized under international law should not be delivered against transactions concluded during the MOC process.
