Platts discontinues publication of company-posted prices from US, Canada wholesale rack PGA/PRF/PBF fixed pages

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued publishing third-party, posted rack prices for individual suppliers on its fixed pages for North American rack wholesale prices, effective Aug. 11, 2025. City rack averages on those same pages will still be published.

Platts no longer publishes third-party data on individual company-posted prices for 356 service alert pages due to outdated information and a change in the underlying process of how the fixed pages are published. The racks page index for refined products can be found on page 3500 for the Platts Global Alert and for the Platts Refined Products Alert for US cities as well as PGA/PRF page 3700 for Canadian cities. For ethanol, the racks index is published on page 700 of the Platts Biofuels Alert.

The full data set can still be accessed directly through the individual symbols. A complete list of rack symbols can be found in the "Petroleum Others" file on the symbols directory page on the website: https://www.spglobal.com/commodityinsights/en/our-methodology/symbol-page-directories. Rack prices are published Monday through Friday at 6:30 pm ET.

Platts continues to publish unbranded rack averages for select commodities in each city on the rack fixed pages, with the exception of the following symbols, which have been previously discontinued:
