The S&P Global Commodity Insights office in Singapore will be closed Friday Aug. 9, 2024, for National Day holiday, and there will be no Asia chemical, freight and exchange rate publications and assessments out of Singapore that day.
India/South Asia assessments will be published as usual as they follow India publishing schedule effective July 8: https://www.spglobal.com/commodityinsights/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/070824-platts-changes-the-publishing-schedule-for-indiasouth-asia-chemical-assessments
ASSESSMENTS AND AVERAGES: The affected Asia weekly assessments published from Singapore on Fridays will be brought forward to Thursday Aug. 8. Weekly averages for daily assessments, normally calculated on Fridays, will be also brought forward one day.
ASIA PETROCHEMICALSCAN: Platts will publish the Asian Petrochemicalscan (APS) on Thursday, carrying these values, while leaving India/South Asia Friday assessments and weekly averages blank. Platts will republish the APS on the following day, Aug. 9, incorporating India/South Asia values that will be assessed on Friday. In future, Platts intends to amend the publishing schedule for Asia Petrochemicalscan to take into account availability of data both out of Singapore and out of India.
TIMESTAMP: Additionally, Commodity Insights in Singapore will end its Platts Market on Close assessment process early Aug. 8 and the affected assessments will be basis 12:30 pm Singapore time (0430 GMT).
Normal Singapore publishing schedules will resume Aug. 12.
