Platts proposes adding Agioi Theodoroi to ports reflected in FOB Med Premium Unleaded 10ppm gasoline cargo assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to expand the list of ports reflected in its Market on Close assessment process for FOB Mediterranean Premium Unleaded 10ppm Gasoline cargoes to include Agioi Theodoroi in Greece, effective Sept. 26, 2022.

Platts understands Agioi Theodoroi is a major export location for gasoline, with the port suitable to vessels commensurate with the FOB Med gasoline market.

Platts currently publishes bids and offers in this market for the following locations:

Croatia: Rijeka

Cyprus: VTT Vasiliko

Greece: Aspropyrgos, Thessaloniki

Italy: Augusta, Falconara, Genoa, Milazzo, Santa Panagia Bay, Sarroch

Malta: Malta

Morocco: Tangier Med

Spain: Barcelona, Castellon

Platts is requesting feedback on all aspects of this proposal, including the suitability of Agioi Theodoroi as well as the current list of ports reflected in the assessment process.

The FOB Med Premium Unleaded gasoline cargo assessment is published in Platts European Marketscan, on Platts Global Alert page 1320, as well as in the Platts price database under the code AAWZA00.
