Platts starts database of weekly average number of US power contracts for four western locations

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has started to database the weekly average power deal count for the following US West locations: John Day, NOB, Westwing, and Mona, effective July 27, 2022.

The weekly average deal count represents the average number of power contracts reported as transacted during the week and factored into Platts power indexes.

For each location, Platts will database the weekly number of contracts for day-ahead, on-peak, and off-peak.

The values are published under the following symbols:
