Platts clarifies description of Chinese Yuan-Hong Kong dollar forex assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is clarifying the description of the Chinese Yuan to Hong Kong dollar foreign exchange rate assessment in Asia.

The code AAWGE00 represents the amount of Hong Kong dollars one Chinese Yuan can buy and the description should read as Chinese Yuan-Hong Kong Dollar, or CNY.HKD.

Platts expresses the base and the counter currency separated with a dash, slash or dot.
