Platts to amend Worldscale basket rate for Black Sea to Mediterranean, cross Mediterranean dirty tanker routes from Sept. 1

Following a Worldscale Association update to Gibraltar, S&P Global Commodity Insights will amend the Worldscale flat rate basket used in $/mt calculations for the Black Sea to Mediterranean and the Mediterranean to Mediterranean 30kt dirty tanker assessments, effective Sept. 1, 2022.

With this amendment, the new average flat rate for the Black Sea to Mediterranean and Mediterranean to Mediterranean voyages will be $11.13/mt and $6.98/mt, respectively.
