HIGHLIGHTS

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is proposing the launch of a daily assessment of the ammonia FOB market in North Africa, effective Sept. 2, 2024.

In view of the increased importance of North African ammonia for CFR pricing in Europe, Platts is proposing the launch of a daily (Monday-Friday) single number spot assessment of the FOB market for ammonia in North Africa.

The proposed assessments will appear in Platts Fertecon Daily, and will be available via Platts Connect. The daily single price assessment from each Thursday will also be published in the weekly Ammonia Market Report.

The proposed assessment will be assessed daily on a 16:30 London timestamp and will follow the London publishing calendar.
