Following industry consultation, S&P Global Platts has decided to discontinue some daily power assessments for France and Spain due to low liquidity and changing trading patterns, effective October 2, 2017. The last day of assessment will be September 29, 2017.
The assessments to be discontinued are listed below. They are published in Platts European Power Daily, on European Power Alert pages 85 (France) and 81 (Spain) and in Market Data category EE. Associated monthly average symbols in Market Data category EE and dynamic symbols in Market Data category PE would also be discontinued.

Platts has decided to discontinue assessing French Saturday and Sunday power prices. Platts has decided to use the last working day of the week's assessment of the weekend code PFWE042 to replace Saturday and Sunday for the flow date price data set.

Platts has also decided to assess and publish on a weekly basis (on Fridays) the Spanish baseload week-ahead contract (AADIR00) and French baseload week- ahead contract (AAHNP00).
