SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to amend cargo size for FOB Singapore MTBE assessments

Platts proposes to amend its Asian MTBE assessments to reflect cargoes of 2,000 mt, effective September 4, 2015. Platts currently assesses daily FOB Singapore MTBE based on a cargo size of 2,000-3,000 mt. Platts will continue to accept and report bids, offers, and other market information for different sizes of cargoes reported by the market. For the assessment purposes, such cargoes may be normalized to reflect the value for a 2,000 mt parcel.
