Platts no longer reflects FSUs CS Innovation, CS Prosperity and CS Brilliance in Singapore fuel oil cargo, ex-wharf MOC

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, no longer reflects the vessels CS Innovation, CS Prosperity, and CS Brilliance as additional loading points in its Market on Close assessment process for Singapore fuel oil cargo and ex-wharf bunkers, effective immediately.

This follows a review of market participants' ability to trade offers in the MOC process where product is for loading from these three vessels.

CS Innovation (IMO 9158886), CS Prosperity (IMO9169691), and CS Brilliance (IMO 9153513) are operated by CSZ Shipping Co. Ltd., CSHA Shipping Co. Ltd., and CSHB Shipping Co. Ltd. as floating storage units at Tanjung Pelepas within the Tanjung Pelepas Port Limits in southern Malaysia's Johor state.

Platts included CS Prosperity as an additional loading point in the FOB Singapore fuel oil MOC assessment process from Aug. 1, 2018, while CS Innovation and CS Brilliance were included from Feb. 1, 2019, and July 17, 2019, respectively.

There are currently 11 FSUs approved as additional loading points in the FOB Singapore cargo and ex-wharf bunkers MOC process for marine fuel 0.5% and 380 CST HSFO.

The standards applicable to approved FSUs require that sellers specifically name the vessel used as a loading point at the time of submitting offers to Platts for publishing.

Any offer of oil from vessels accredited for the FOB Singapore cargo and ex-wharf bunkers MOC process for marine fuel 0.5% and380 CST HSFO would be on an FOB FSU basis.

Sellers cannot unilaterally nominate an approved vessel as a loading point in FOB Straits trades.
