In view of changing trading patterns in the French and Spanish power markets, S&P Global Platts is seeking feedback on a proposal to discontinue some daily power assessments for France and Spain on October 1, 2017. The assessments being considered for discontinuation are listed below and are published in Platts European Power Daily, on European Power Alert pages 85 (France) and 81 (Spain) and in Market Data category EE. Associated monthly average symbols in Market Data category EE and dynamic symbols in Market Data category PE would also be discontinued under this proposal. Platts is proposing to use the last working day of the week's assessment of the weekend code PFWE042 to replace Saturday and Sunday for the flow date price data set.
