Platts adds new instruments for Jiaxing port in eWindow for CFR Taiwan/China paraxylene MOC

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has added new instruments for Jiaxing port under the location hubs in its eWindow communication tool for the Asia paraxylene CFR Taiwan/China Market on Close assessment process effective June 24, 2022.

Market participants in the MOC process are now able to directly submit bids for CFR Jiaxing and CFR Taiwan/China + Jiaxing for both Asia and open origin PX, and directly offer CFR Taiwan/China + Jiaxing for both Asia and open origin PX, through the eWindow communication tool or through an editor, who would then publish the information using the software.

Platts has included Jiaxing port as a non-par delivery port in the PX CFR Taiwan/China MOC from Jan. 3, 2022, and has started considering and publishing Asia-origin bids, which give buyers optionality to receive the cargo in Jiaxing or in any of the four par ports (https://www.spglobal.com/commodityinsights/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/020322-platts-to-publish-asia-origin-bids-of-cfr-tndjjiaxing-in-paraxylene-cfr-taiwanchina-moc).
