Platts launches market consultation on several US natural gas index locations

S&P Global Platts has launched a period of market consultation on the North American natural gas indexes listed below.

Platts has observed very low liquidity in both the number of trades reported by parties who submit prices and the amount of derivatives trading on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).

Platts invites market feedback on the continuation of reporting on these locations or amending the location methodology by July 3.

Platts may either discontinue the locations or modify the location descriptions.
