Following a Worldscale Association update for the port of Djeno, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will amend the Worldscale flat rate baskets used in the $/mt calculations for its West Africa-Far East 260kt and 130kt dirty tanker assessments, effective July 1.
Following this amendment, the new average flat rates for the following assessments will be:
Dirty West Africa-Far East 260kt: $35.54/mt
Dirty West Africa-Far East 130kt: $35.54/mt

The affected assessments are:
Assessment: Daily Code, Mavg Code
Dirty West Africa-Far East 260kt: TDACN00, TDACN03
Dirty West Africa-Far East 130kt: TDACM00, TDACM03
The affected assessments appear in Platts Dirty Tankerwire; on Platts Shipping Alert pages, 1440, 1441 and Platts Tanker Alert pages 1970,1971; as well as in the Platts price database under the codes above.
