SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts clarifies met coke methodology for FOB North China, CFR East India

S&P Global Platts wishes to clarify its methodology for its metallurgical coke FOB North China and CFR East India assessments.

These assessments (code: AAWVL00 for FOB China; MCCEI00 for CFR East India) are based on 64%/62% coke strength, or CSR, quality.

This means that Platts uses data based on, or normalized data to, coke with typical 64% CSR and a rejection limit of 62% CSR for these assessments.
