Platts amends dirty tanker flat rate for Hound Point-Rotterdam 80,000 mt route from June 1

Following a Worldscale Association update for the port of Hound Point, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has amended the $/mt flat rate of the Hound Point-Rotterdam 80,000-mt route incorporated in the Freight Adjustment Factor, effective June 1, 2023.

Please refer to the Worldscale website for more information on its update.

The FAF is calculated from the 10-day rolling freight average of the Dirty Cross-UK/Continent 80,000 mt freight assessment as published in Platts Dirty Tankerwire and in the Platts Pricing Database under code TDUUW00.

A factor of 80% will be applied for all BFOE cargoes for the following six freight routes from May 2:

Sullom-Voe to Rotterdam

Hound Point to Rotterdam

Sture to Rotterdam

Teesside to Rotterdam

Mongstad to Rotterdam

North Sea to Rotterdam [used for WTI Midland in Dated Brent]
