SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to add monthly, quarterly averages for 15-60day CIF ARA coal

In light of a decision to discontinue its 90-day CIF ARA thermal coal assessment and the associated monthly and quarterly averages, S&P Global Platts is proposing to launch new monthly and quarterly averages for its 15-60 day CIF ARA assessment from July 9, 2018.

The new monthly and quarterly averages would be published in International Coal Report and in Market Data category CI. Platts invites comments and questions by June 8, 2018, to coal@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com.
