SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts announces new Mexico daily natural gas prices

Effective May 23, Platts began publishing daily natural gas prices for 15 locations in Mexico. The prices are derived by adding estimated transportation costs to the Platts daily gas price for certain US locations. Initially the prices will only be available through the Platts online portal and mobile app. The online portal and mobile app are currently in development and are being used for demonstration purposes as a means of soliciting feedback on Mexico pricing and news content from market participants.

Platts will publish daily gas prices for the following locations: border locations at Alamo, TX, Hidalgo, TX, Juarez, Matamoros, Miguel Aleman, Reynosa, Rio Bravo, TX, Rosarrito and Sierrita, and delivery locations within Mexico at Alcalde Mayor, El Encino, Los Ramones, Puente Moreno, Tierra Blanca, and Valtierrilla.
