Platts to change frequency of European and UK Recycled PET assessments to daily

In light of evolving market dynamics, S&P Global Platts has decided to change the frequency of its Recycled-PET assessments in Europe and the UK from weekly to daily, effective May 13, 2020.

This will align R-PET with daily coverage of recycled plastics globally.

The assessments, previously published every Wednesday, will now be published every UK working day.

The following symbols will be affected:

Platts will continue to publish a weekly commentary and rationale every Wednesday.

Corresponding weekly and monthly averages will also be published.

The assessments will be published on Petrochemical Alert page PCA503, in Polymerscan, Platts Platform, Platts Market Center and in Platts price database.
