Change in methodology for CFR India weekly assessment (FSSIA04)

Simultaneously, Platts has refined the methodology for its existing granular sulfur CFR India weekly range assessment (FSSIA04) , effect May 8, 2025. The assessment would reflect the granular sulfur CFR India price, with the range derived from the two new assessments outlined above rather than being assessed in its own right. No other market information will be taken into account.

For example, if CFR India West Coast is assessed at $100/mt and CFR India East Coast at $110/mt, then sulfur CFR India will be calculated as a range of $100- $110/mt.

All three assessments appear under the respective symbols in the Sulfur market report, Platts Connect, S&P Connect and the Platts price database.
