SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to assess FOB USGC styrene in $/mt starting June 3

S&P Global Platts will launch daily FOB US Gulf Coast styrene monomer assessments for the front month and forward month in $/mt, effective June 3, 2019. This decision follows a feedback period that ended May 3, 2019.

The new assessments will take into consideration price information gathered until 4 pm Central Time every day. The methodology will follow the currently published methodology for Platts US Gulf Coast styrene monomer assessments published in cents/lb.

The assessments will appear in Polymerscan, in Europe and Americas Petrochemicalscan and on Platts Petrochemical Alert pages PCA0448, PCA0435, PCA0541, PCA0774 and PCA0434.

The assessments will appear in the Platts price database under the following symbols and descriptions: ASFUA00 - Styrene FOB USG $/mt ASFUB00 - Styrene FOB USGC Mo02 $/mt ASFUA04 - Styrene FOB USG $/mt WAvg ASFUB04 - Styrene FOB USGC Mo02 $/mt WAvg ASFUA03 - Styrene FOB USG $/mt MAvg ASFUB03 - Styrene FOB USGC Mo02 $/mt MAvg
