SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes discontinuation of Breakbulk Brazil 45 white sugar price

S&P Global Platts proposes to discontinue the FOB Paranagua Breakbulk Brazil 45 white sugar outright price and related differential, with effect from August 1, 2019, due to changing market dynamics and diminishing liquidity.

Platts will continue to assess the FOB Santos Container Brazil 45 white sugar outright price and related differential.

Container prices typically trade at a premium to breakbulk shipments.

The proposed change will affect the following assessments:
