SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to reflect Terneuzen in its FOB AR gasoline barge assessments

After extensive feedback, S&P Global Platts will reflect Terneuzen as a load port in its FOB Amsterdam-Rotterdam gasoline barge assessments starting from June 1, 2017.

This decision follows a proposal published on March 31, 2017. The subscriber note is available here: https://...ts.com/subscriber-notes-details/26701018.

Platts will reflect bids, offers and trades where sellers may nominate Terneuzen for performance on FOB AR gasoline trades reported through the Market on Close process. Currently, Platts reflects gasoline barge trades with a basis location of AR.

This decision does not add the facility as a basis port.

Any demonstrable incremental costs incurred by the buyer from a Terneuzen nomination should be borne by the seller in the MOC process.

The oil terminal at the port has storage capacity of almost 475,000 cu m with transportation links that can be accessed by vessels of up to about 130,000 dwt, as well as facilities for barges, railcars, trucks and a pipeline connection.
