Platts to discontinue CIF Japan FeCr (.10% Cr)

Platts plans to discontinue publishing the CIF Japan ferrochrome (.10% Cr) price assessment, due to a lack of liquidity in Japanese spot trade in the last five years.

Platts will continue assessing prices for other ferrochrome grades. The planned removal of the price will take effect on June 1, 2010.
