S&P Global Platts has decided to add the Permian Highway and Gulf Coast Express pipelines to the Waha natural gas methodology, starting trade date June 1 for flow date June 2 for the daily index and July bidweek for the monthly index.

New Methodology: Deliveries into interstate and intrastate pipelines at the outlet of the Waha header system in the Permian Basin in West Texas. Pipelines and locations include El Paso Natural Gas, Transwestern Pipeline, Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America, Northern Natural Gas, Delhi Pipeline, Oasis Pipeline, Atmos Zone 1, OneOk West Tex, Enterprise Texas Pipeline, Permian Highway Pipeline, and Gulf Coast Express Pipeline. Does not include Atmos Zone 3 or Tolar Hub.

Platts originally proposed this change on Mar 23 in the following subscriber note: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/032321-platts-proposes-adding-permian-highway-and-gulf-coast-express-to-waha-nat-gas-index-methodology.

The proposal would affect the indices published on NG1308 and NG 1316 and in the Gas Daily and Inside FERC First of the month publications.

The assessment is databased under the following codes: IGBAD00(daily) and IGBAD03(monthly).
