SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to publish notional spot aluminum CIF Japan price indication

S&P Global Platts will start publishing an intra-day notional price indication for spot aluminum CIF Japan from Monday, May 13, 2019.

The notional price indication will state where Platts sees value for the spot Aluminum Premium CIF Japan market at 3:00 pm Singapore time. It aims to bring further transparency to the aluminum assessment process and gives market participants a further means to communicate with Platts editors on daily price movements.

Platts will publish a notional price indication every day at 3:00 pm Singapore time and will make it available, via email, to anyone interested. Please email Notionals_SpotMJP@spglobal.com to be included in this distribution list, or to enquire about further information on aluminum notional indications.

Platts will consider all comments received and will make comments not marked as confidential available upon request.
