Platts resumes publication of NW Black Sea dry bulk freight assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has resumed publication of its dry bulk freight assessment for 25kt Northwest Black Sea grains to Alexandria, effective May 1. This follows stronger observable export volumes from the region.

The price assessment to be resumed is as follows:

Platts suspended its Northwest Black Sea to Alexandria, Egypt, 25kt assessment on July 20, 2023, after uncertainty regarding the escalation of the Russia-Ukraine war.
