SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to discontinue Russia's Yaroslavl to Ventspils diesel netback

S&P Global Platts will discontinue the publication of the diesel netback for Yaroslavl via Ventspils with effect from May 1, 2018. The proposed change aims to bring the netbacks in line with prevailing practices in the market, as Yaroslavl is now predominantly exporting diesel by pipeline via Primorsk.

The decision follows a proposal note sent on March 20, 2018.

Under this proposal, S&P Global Platts would stop publishing the netback for Yaroslavl (Yaroslavl via Ventspils, Platts database code AAXKR00). Platts would also stop publishing the Yaroslavl to Latvian border pipeline fee (Platts database code AAXKV00). The respective monthly averages and conversions would also be discontinued.

S&P Global Platts will continue to publish its Yaroslavl via Primorsk ULSD netback (Platts database code AAWJZ00), and Yaroslavl via St. Petersburg (Platts database code AAXKP00).
