SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to amend description of US-Turkey petcoke freight assessment

Following industry feedback, S&P Global Platts proposes to amend the description of its US-Turkey petcoke freight assessment from Houston-Aliaga to New Orleans-Iskdenderun, effective May 1, 2018.

Platts understands that while petcoke does flow to Aliaga from Houston, the New Orleans/Iskdenderun route sees higher liquidity.

This assessment appears in the Dry Freight Wire and the fixed page PMA-3912 under the code CIPHT00.
