SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts discontinues New Orleans to Alexandria Supramax grains assessment

S&P Global Platts has discontinued the New Orleans to Alexandria Supramax grains assessment basis 50,000 mt. This change is effective as of April 3, 2018.

Platts initially proposed to discontinue this assessment in a note published December 11, 2017 (https://www.platts.com/subscriber-notes-details/21787113).

This discontinuation is a reflection of reduced liquidity in grain flow from the US Gulf Coast to Egypt in the past year.

This assessment appeared in the Dry Freight Wire and under the code GRNOE00.
