Platts amends dirty tanker basket flat rates for cross-UK/Continent Aframax and West Africa-Far East VLCC, Suezmax assessments April 2

Following a Worldscale Association update for the ports of Flotta and Djeno, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has amended the Worldscale flat rate baskets used in the $/mt calculations for its 80kt cross-UK/Continent Aframax and West Africa-Far East 260kt and 130kt dirty tanker assessments, effective April 2.

Following this amendment, the new average flat rates for the following assessments are now:

Dirty cross-UK/Continent 80kt: $9.79/mt

Dirty West Africa-Far East 260kt: $35.75/mt

Dirty West Africa-Far East 130kt: $35.75/mt
