Following a Worldscale Association update to Sullom Voe, the UK, S&P Global Commodity Insights will amend the Worldscale flat rate baskets used in the $/mt calculations for three 80,000 mt dirty tanker assessments effective May 3.

The affected assessments are:
Assessment Daily Code Mavg Code New basket rate
Dirty UKC-Med 80kt $/mt TDACB00 TDACB03 14.75
Dirty UKC-UKC 80kt $/mt TDACD00 TDACD03 7.51
In addition, the basis rate used to calculate the Dirty Sullom Voe-Rotterdam 80,000 mt $/mt assessment (Daily Code: TDSVR00; Mavg Code: TDSVR03) will be the Worldscale 2022 flat rate between the relevant ports, as published by the Worldscale Association.
Clean tanker rates are not affected.
The affected assessments appear in Platts Dirty Tankerwire; on Platts Shipping Alert pages 1430, 1431, 0410, 0100 and Platts Tanker Alert pages 1960, 1983, 1984, 1961; as well as in the S&P Global price database under the codes above.
