Platts discontinues Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam German Spec assessment April 1, 2021

Following a formal public consultation launch, proposal and review, S&P Global Platts has discontinued its Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam German Spec assessment, effective April 1, 2021.

Between October 2012 and March 2021, the value of Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam German Spec was calculated at parity with the Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam assessment, reflecting similar mandated requirements under the European Union's Renewable Energy Directive at the time.

The discontinuation of the Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam German Spec follows a decision published on July 17, 2020, which can be found here: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/071720-platts-to-discontinue-ethanol-t2-fob-rotterdam-german-spec-assessment-april-2021.
