Platts amends basket flat rates for Dirty Suezmax and Aframax UKC-TA and Clean MR Red Sea-East assessments April 1

Following a Worldscale Association update for the ports of Gizan and Tees River, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has amended the Worldscale flat rate baskets used in the $/mt calculations for its Dirty UK/Continent trans-Atlantic 135,000 mt and 80,000 mt and Clean Red Sea-East 35,000 mt tanker assessments, effective April 1.

Following this amendment, the new average flat rates for the following assessments are now:

Dirty UKC-USAC 135kt: $16.89/mt

Dirty UKC-USGC 135kt: $22.17/mt

Dirty UKC-USAC 80kt: $16.89/mt

Dirty UKC-USGC 80kt: $22.17/mt

Dirty UKC-ECC 80kt: $13.75/mt

Dirty Teesside-Rotterdam 80kt: $5.67/mt

Clean Red Sea-East Africa 35kt: $12.04/mt

Clean Red Sea-Japan 35kt: $27.34/mt

Clean Red Sea-Singapore 35kt: $17.63/mt

Clean Red Sea-South Korea 35kt: $25.96/mt
