Platts to amend dirty tanker basket flat rate for UKC-UKC, UKC-Med 80,000 mt assessments from April 3

Following a Worldscale Association update for the port of Sullom Voe, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will amend the Worldscale flat rate basket used in the $/mt calculation for its UK/Continent-to-UKC and UKC-to-Mediterranean 80,000 mt dirty tanker freight assessment, effective April 3, 2023.

Following this amendment, the new average flat rates for the UKC-UKC and UKC-Med 80,000 mt route will be $9.33/mt and $17.95/mt, respectively. This note further modifies the dirty tanker flat rate for the UKC-UKC 80,000 mt route and supersedes the decision note published here on March 24.
