SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts launches FOB Fujairah gasoline eWindow Apr 6

Following feedback from market participants, S&P Global Platts will launch FOB Fujairah 92 RON and 95 RON gasoline instruments in the Platts Market on Close assessment process through eWindow technology from April 6, 2018 onwards.

Participants in the MOC process will be able to submit bids or offers for publication directly through the eWindow communication tool, or do so through an editor who would then publish the bids and offers using the software.

Bids, offers and trades for FOB Fujairah gasoline physical will be published through the eWindow software on either a flat price basis or on a floating price basis versus Platts Mean of Platts Arab Gulf 92 RON and 95 RON gasoline assessments a 5-day bill of lading basis.

The instruments will appear in the eWindow software as follows, with the hub as FOB Fujairah :

Headlines generated by the software on Platts Global Alert will carry these prefixes.

Platts expects credit relationships that prevail inside its assessment environment to fully reflect relationships in the market as a whole, and apply to these new instruments as well.

The newly listed FOB Fujairah hubs on eWindow will reflect 200,000 barrels each, for loading 20 to 40 days from the date of assessment.

Market participants should specify loading for a five-day date range at the time of submitting a bid or offer for publication.

Cargoes loading from the following Gulf ports would be considered for inclusion in the assessments: Jubail, Jebel Ali, Mina Al Ahmadi, Quoin Island, Shuaiba, Ras Tanura, Ruwais, Mina Abdulla, Sohar, Bahrain, Fujairah, Ras Laffan and any safe and sound port within this geographic area

Platts will only publish offers where sellers specify at least one and no more than three representative load points and will only publish bids where buyers specify at least three representative load points.

For all trades reported through Platts Market on Close process for the above assessments, 12 days prior to loading, seller would declare the terminal.

Seven days prior to loading, buyer would nominate the vessel, and narrow the loading window to three days, subject to terminal acceptance.
