SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes discontinuation of its 90-day FOB Newcastle assessment

Based on a review of historical liquidity and market relevance, S&P Global Platts is seeking market feedback on a proposal to discontinue its FOB Newcastle 6,300 kcal/kg GAR 90 Day $/mt (CSAGB00) from July 2018.

The assessment is published in Coal Trader International, on Global Coal Alert page 420 and in Market Data category CI.

The following associated assessments would also be discontinued as a result:

CSEUE00 Thermal Coal FOB Newcastle 6300 kcal/kg GAR 90 Day Euro/mt CSAGB03 Thermal Coal FOB Newcastle 6300 kcal/kg GAR 90 Day $/mt MAvg CSAGB04 Thermal Coal FOB Newcastle 6300 kcal/kg GAR 90 Day $/mt QAvg

These prices are published in Coal Trader International. Some additional associated symbols may also be affected.

Platts is proposing to discontinue the assessments listed above on July 9, 2018. The last day of assessment would be on July 6, 2018.
